The next page is a Summary of the processed job:
This displays:
- The CBYD Request Number
- The request's ticket details
- The contacted asset owners' phone numbers
There are also options to:
- Copy - this allows you to begin a new request based off the same ticket details as the previous request. You will just need to select dates and the new job's location.
- Continue Ticket - useful if you have a large site which requires multiple sections to be lodged as individual tickets.
- Download - click this button to download a printable PDF version of the Summary page.
To exit the Summary page, click the X button at the top right of the screen:
Once the job has processed, a confirmation email will also be sent to you, containing a copy of your ticket confirmation:
Once a ticket for a locate request has successfully processed through the system, the identified utilities on the ticket are notified via email. Utilities are then required to respond to the site to mark any underground facilities they own and operate. Some utilities have contract locators to conduct mark-outs on their behalf.
Mark-outs must be completed by the indicated start date on the request.
If the area is clear of conflict (COC) for a particular asset owner (i.e. they have no underground lines at the site), the utility has the option to respond to you with an email , via phone call or a posting in PositiveResponse to advise you that the area is clear. Some utilities will still come out to paint on the excavation site as confirmation.
If you have any follow-up questions regarding the utility mark-outs, they can be contacted via the phone numbers listed on your ticket confirmation page.
